As a White Goods Service Engineer, the most common questions asked by customers would always relate to washing machine hygeine issues, especially "how can I clean my mouldy & mildew covered door seal" or "why does my washing machine smell so bad?"

Even in the early days I had realised replacing the door seal, sometimes at considerable expense for the customer, was only a temporary solution and the problem would return quite quickly as the issue remained of bacteria in the drum.

After trying most, if not all the products on the market, I decided to attempt to create a cleaning product of my own.

The ideal solution would have to clean deep inside the bottom of the drum and also clean the door seal saving additional cost of replacing the door seal. After several years of research & taking in my own experiences with customers disappointment with current products I eventually decided to formulate my own cleaner (along with The Wizard of course).

The birth of Washer Wizard

Initially the unnamed product was only sold to engineers that I had met during my time doing repairs, however other engineers made contact requesting to purchase the product. With both engineers and more importantly customers being delighted with the results, I decided to create the brand name Washer Wizard and promote the product as a retail product rather than strictly trade.

So as of September 2023, the product was launched, and the rest they say is history.
